i regret to admit i was banned from heavengames many moons ago. i disagreed with how the aok subforum was being run and wanted to clean the place up. there was a lot of naughty talk and i wanted to basically start the forum over by removing the worst offenders. half of the senior mods agreed with me, half didnt, so they ruled that it would stay as is. sadly i was young and naeve so i went renegade and they said they had no choice but to ban me.

Yep. Nationstates in 2003 for trolling, Forumplanet in 2005 (it was actually a "global deletion" which is a bit more serious) for involvement in a conspiracy to thwart their administrative system.

EDIT: Oh, and Tittie Feelie for "being an insufferable asshole" in 2006.

I'll just say, right-wing sites like redstate and newsbusters quickly permanently ban people who correct their posts. Says a lot about how they want to protect the 'bubble'.

a couple from here (not since the mods went public, though... I'm 80% convinced that my bans were from a P&N-posting mod with a grudge) and once from TelevisionWithoutPity (total nazi mods), but all those bans were only a few days/weeks.
