Have you ever had the urge to sell (or just get rid of) most of your possessions?

I kind of know that feeling. I feel very tied down by my possessions. I currently own a house and I have a lot of shit that I never use. It's been sitting around untouched for years.

Every once in a while I list a ton of stuff on Craigslist, sell maybe 20% of the crap, but I'm left with a lot of crap that's worth enough that I won't pitch it in the trash. Someday someone will by all my crap and I'll be free!

Yep. But since I sell old junk online, it's natural.

I got 4 orders I need to wander off and fill right now.

The worst part is trying to guess what boxes it's in, lol.

I would consider myself semi organized at best, and a hording pack rat at worst, heh.

But a lot of the stuff I find it hard to throw away just because I'm not using it anymore and it is next to worthless now. Like two 19 inch monitors and one 17 inch one. They take up a lot of space, but WTF am I going to do with them? I only drag one out on occasion for working on someones broken PC. Not to mention boxes of assorted PC crap that still works, but I can't even sell it for scrap.

I swear, my crap has crap.

All I really have now for posessions besides two weeks worth of clothes is a bed a bike and my computer. Once in a while I'll pick up a game console but usually get bored of it in a few months and sell it.

Way ahead of you. Ive been in liquidation mode since November. The hardest thing to part with was my $500 Nuvi for half price.

Will list my cars old tail lights tomorrow (upgraded to LED). Might generate $90.

I hate to ask, but why would such a non sequitur enter one's thoughts? We have stuff because of the utility and conveniences they provide. If you want to get rid of your stuff, you for some reason don't feel like there is a necessity to have your life made more convenient?
