Only nubs don't do it. It saves precious pixels. (actually now that I have small icons enabled, it might not save pixels because it stays thick when vertical and gets much thinner when horizontal... wtf?)

Did you hear jets flying overhead or the Star Spangled Banner playing? That's what happens prior to stations going off the air. But it's pretty early for that still. :biggrin:

Update your video drivers, do a clean install of them and download the latest k-lite codec pack to be sure your system is most up to date for playing content with overlay. If that's flash make sure that's up to date. Disabling hardware acceleration (right click if it's flash and the menu has it there) may also help, again if applicable.

I understand your frustration! It happened to me once in awhile, but I was always able to move the task bar down to the bottom. It's very annoying when it stayed on the side.

Well, I thought that having small buttons didn't really make it smaller in the other position, but apparently it does. I must have not remembered that.

I'm annoyed that the vertical version of the bar won't become smaller. I don't know if maybe there's some hack out there for it.

Yea firefox has gotten progressively shittier throughout the years. The browser fucks up on me all the time on my laptop when I switch from onboard graphics to the dedicated gpu. Doesnt happen at all on Chrome and IE.
