Longest I've been away from Canada was 3 months backpacking in Europe in 2008.

I recently got my working holiday visa for Australia, and I'm doing a job search and taking care of other details. Plan to be there for a year starting in spring 2011.

Moved to the USA in my mid-20's (still there)

Lived in Singapore for 3 years.

I am happy in the USA and me and my family really liked Singapore and we would be happy to move back there.

I'm jealous. I always wanted to do a working holiday in Australia but kept putting it off one more year so my career was in better shape, now I'm too old to qualify.
