Only one other, and that person is my son (Soxfan Jr.)
I think it's cool when people name their kid after them. If I have a son I would name him after me.

Make sure your offspring don't resent it. For example: I don't particularly care, but why do I and others carry my father's name if we don't even know him? It's like if TBS, TNT, TCM, Turner South, etc all got named after Ted Turner because he was just some guy who only attended the first board meeting of the company.I think it's cool when people name their kid after them. I can tell you having to work in a healthcare environment that father/son having the same name and living in the same area is a medical nightmare when it comes to record management. Especially as the father/son get older (say 50 & 70) and it's harder to determine which is which. Have to deal with that weekly on getting records and charts merged together and on the right person.
don't you usually go off last 4 ?
No but I saw someone with my exact car for the first time today, which is impressive since I've been driving my car for 14 years and over 220k miles.
I have a twin brother with the same initials and similar SSN and we once shared the same address (our mother's). Every month I would have to correct my Best Buy credit card's details because they kept reverting to his name on the statements. When I'd call and put in my SSN, I'd get HIS old details from a card he had long since closed ("You owe $0"). Every month they'd tell me that it was fixed and I didn't have to worry about it but it would happen again like clock-work. The same goes for our Best Buy Reward Zone accounts. He kept getting my RZ certificates!don't you usually go off last 4 ?
Most of the time, no. Many organizations are moving away from SSN entirely and it's not even visible in most areas of a chart. When you walk up to the registration desk of a prompt care or doctors office it's First Name, Last Name, DOB. If the registration person grabs the wrong name from the list and sends you on back the nurse *should* validate name & DOB again, but sometimes they won't.
