Next time I go out for drinks with my coworker, she is getting her drink spiked with roofies, then fucked in the ass in the handicap stall while receiving a swirly.
Aren't you the dude that sleeps on the shitter? You work in a bar? Do you sleep in those nasty bar bathrooms?
Only if my boss orders one first.
I worked at a "large internet retailer" for a few years and some of the VPs bought a keg and would do weekly 4pm hangouts, so it was hardly a draconion working environment, but being out at lunch on my own or with peers and being spotted with a drink would have fed the office gossip machine and simply wasn't worth the hassle.
When I'm at work I'm all business. Even one hallway meeting where my boss stops me to ask, "so and so saw you out with a beer and got the wrong impression, keep an eye on that," is too much bother and irritation to deal with. You don't seem like the type that would give a shit about office gossip. Shit, talk about me all you want, I'm having a beer.
Chuck Yeager?
ahahaha! damn autocorrect tablet! I meant jagermeister.
 Good point. Oh and it will warm me up, after consuming enough... :whiste:*pshaw* just means beer stays cold longer.
Nope. Safety is #1 as it is in all industrial environments. You would get ass reamed having alcohol in your system here.
I have worked in a couple of large corporate office-type settings, and everyone seems to think alcohol consumption is still illegal. We once went out to a Tex-Mex joint once and I wanted to order a dollar Corona. The guys I were with freaked out and said "You shouldn't drink on the job!"
What is the big deal? It isn't like I am getting shitfaced and going back to work. I ordered it anyway and felt no repercussions. Pretty sure my boss knew, thanks to them telling him.
Does anyone ever drink with their lunch? Sort of nice to have a cold beer on a hot summer afternoon Too bad it's 9F here today.
Risk vs. Reward. It's just not worth it. People can be so petty all it takes is the wrong manager or administrative person to walk into the restaurant/pub you are at and see you drinking and they now associate you with that.
I can wait till I get home.
