Something like a police chase and the car ram other cars out of the way or maybe a beating/stabbing on the street?

Was sitting at work and heard a HUGE crash sound. Got up and looked down the street saw a big wreck with a car still rolling and then a guy jumped out of the rolling car and took off running.

About 10 seconds every damn cop car in Orlando came flying down the street. Never saw so many cops in my life. They came from every direction.

Turns out the guy running was wanted for attempted murder and had been leading police on a big chase across town. He had already caused one big wreck at another intersection when he ran the red light.

They caught him about 15-20 mins after the wreck I saw.

When I had a steady job & was looking for apartments with girlfriend. After leaving on of the places she was telling me how it's not the greatest neighborhood. Before I could respond. An SUV comes flying around the corner, smacks into a lightpole. They all come popping out. But cops were already on top of them before they could flee anywhere. I then exclaimed, "Now I would feel right at home in this neighborhood!"

Another time was leaving class. Was high as hell since I just smoked a blunt in my car on break, then decided not to go back to class. Some intuition told me to nudge over on the road a little bit as I was coming up to light. Vette came flying past me with cop right behind him.

Odds of seeing one down there seem higher than I thought they'd be... Dunno why but I always pictured Australia as fairly crime-free. And New Zealand.

Crime statistics are often better indicators of prevalence of law enforcement and willingness to report crime, than actual prevalence

they're also factoring in bicycle theft... yeah that's totally on the same level as robbery and assault.

Keep in mind...they ARE a nation started by convicts...

Yes, I have seen several serious crimes committed over the years.
Why just last month, I watched my neighbor put garbage in his green waste barrel for disposal!

In my youth, I was something of a "wild child," and after serving 4 years in the USMC, I was wild...and well trained. I have a fairly extensive felony record as a result.

I saw a bad wreck at an intersection once. Read later on the news that one of the drivers was killed.

I saw a homicide. It was a bit complicated. To make a long story short this happens on a major freeway and a junction that swoops above the entire freeway.

Guy on 50ft+ overpass/junction outside a vehicle
Catch the reverse lights of a car as the guy was trying to move out of it's way
See him go over the barricade and fall 50ft+ as he first hits the top of a lightpost before hitting the ground
This all happened within 15 seconds

one time driving up I35 at night there was a cop chasing some guy at high speed in the same direction that zoomed past me. never saw what happened, i guess they caught him at a local road.

I was almost the abrupt end of a police chase last summer. Some gang bangers boosted a PT Cruiser and were running from the cops and came to a crashing hault about a foot from me.

4 idiots robbed the local B.K. at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. 1 killed himself instead of being arrested. Guess he thought that was better than the consequences of being out of his house with that ankle bracelet. 2 were arrested after a foot chase. The last was arrested the following Monday while trying to pay a traffic ticket in the next county. Did he think his buds wouldn't give up his name?

And I didn't get my paper crown. Bitches.

My school bus got hijacked by one of the students at my stop back in high school. This was 15 years ago, but I still remember it well. He had a rifle wrapped up in construction paper at the bus stop. I kept looking at it, but just figured it was some project he was working on. When the bus came, he was the second to last to get on (I was behind him). He ripped it out of the construction paper, and stuck it about an inch from the bus driver's eye. He told everyone to get off the bus, so everyone bolted. He then made the bus driver drive him to church. Turns out he snapped from issues at home. One of the girls on the bus got a let from him months later. He talked about how much he enjoyed the cavity searches in jail. Hope I never get to that state!

At least you get the sastifaction of knowing you don't have to pay for his incarceration any longer.

Only thing I've seen was a high speed chase. Guy goes flying by in opposite direction doing probably 80 in a 35, cops hot on his tail. Most likely stolen car heading for Detroit from the burbs.
