fell at work and landed on the broken glass from the cases of everfresh I was carrying to the truck. got up, felt like I merely scraped myself, look to my hand to see a large shard of glass sticking out. Didn't hurt other than feeling scraped. I look at it again, take the shard out, and walk over to the manager and go 'umm.. think I need stitches'.
ended up getting 9 stitches on my palm. the lidocaine kind of had a small area, and the last stitches on each end of the cut definitely had some hurt involved.
had to get a shot in the hip a couple of weeks through, and the stitches were left in like a week and a half longer than necessary because it wasn't healing properly. didn't help that I felt like I tore them a little bit when I went bodyboarding on the ocean when on vacation the week or second week after the injury. heh that kind of hurt.
