have you noticed some foods are made almost entirely out of fat?

I've noticed on the packaging that some foods are almost completely fat calories.

Like a hotdog is 100+ calories, but about 90 of those calories are fat. Same exact story for pepperoni sticks, 100+ calories of which 90 are fat.

That's kind of gross when you think about it.

don't you know fat is one of the primary food groups?

fat, cholestoral(sp?), msg, salt, sugar....

The REAL 4 major food groups

1 Beef, 2 Pork, 3 Other Animals, 4 Beer (or pop if you are under 21)

The rest are the Minor food groups aka things that a rabbit (or a pesky peta person or hippie) eats
1. Plants
2. Other

In LA they sells these huge red tubs of LARD in some markets. 100% LARD! :Q

I suppose it could be argued that Krispy Kreme doughnuts are approx 104% fat..

Can you believe some people would pay their hard earn money to buy food that is not healthy for you? Then they might ended up paying even more money to the doctor and such. Try some healthy alternative, although costlier but gentler on your body, like smoke turkey slices, free ranch chicken eggs, canned fish. Although atheletes needs about 30% of fat in their diet.

I thought it was 30% of calories from fat. Given that fat contains more than twice as many calories as carbohydrates and proteins weight for weight, 30% fat in your diet will end up being a lot more than 30% of calories.

Why free "ranch" (range?) chicken eggs? If you think there is a difference, you are mistaken. Free range eggs have the same nutritional content as regular eggs, but cost up to 5 times as much.

Also, did you know that you are up to 10 times more likely to contract a food born illness by eating "organically grown" fruits and vegetables? Want to know why? Organically grown fruits and vegies are fertilized with manure (cow poop). If you don't wash them well, you can get very sick.
