did you take a look at what he was talin about?

apparently xp2100+ (palomino) was an exception to the rest when it came to unlocking....you need to open some, and close some (bridges)

that makes sense then. don't think I'd use a dremel to open them though. rpms on the cutting tool would liekly send the chip flying across the room.. splat!

I just used trhermal grease on my old palomino 1700.
