Every time I push the power button my computer goes on for a millisecond and then goes immediately off.. the only solution I've found to this is to reinstall my ram stick back into its slot and then press the power button but then I have to do the whole thing over again after I shut down... What is going on? I'm afraid I'm killing my motherboard or something each time I do this and it's a pain in the ass so please help me out. My specs are:
DFI Lanparty UT NF4 Ultra - D + AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice Combo from Monarch
(I reapplied thermal with AS5 and replaced hsf with Thermalright XP-90 + Panaflo L1BX)
Fortron AX500-A 'Blue Storm'
OCZ4001024WV3DC-K 'Value VX'
Antec SLK3000B
and some old parts from my old computer until I get new ones from zzf:
Western Digital 40GB Caviar 2MB Buffer
PNY GeForce FX5200 PCI
Some old Dell monitor
2x CD-ROM Drives
One unconnected floppy because of the lack of 4 pin peripheral slidey thingy connectors... only have one for the motherboard
Thanks in advance...
