Well the ending was better than the Lost finale, and Dexters
But was it really?

So I guess that's an ending
But Bran? Really?
Also why do they need a Night's Watch any more anyway? Just to get rid of unplanned kids?
Yeah but that's not saying much lol. It didn't make me want to rage and it didn't ruin the show I don't think. At least that's my initial impressionBut was it really?
From what I gathered
Jon was just all fuck it and took the Freefolk north and became the new king north of the wall. It looks like he abandoned his post (again). But yeah I agree--why is the Nights Watch even a thing now? I guess that was more your question. This also left me baffled. Besides: Castle Black or Eastwatch (wherever they were--speaking of, they repaired the wall already? lol) was controlled by Freefolk anyway. Are they really the Night's Watch?
He can just blame the writers for the last season and say got is ruined and never finish while he sits on his pile of cash.Your move, GRRM
So Bran the the ultimate bad guy who manipulated events to clear the way for him to ascend the throne by turning Jon against Dany and arranging for her to go mad.
well... so much for a Breaking Bad level finale.
I kind of expected him to stand at the end of the table scene and walk away.

90% of this episode was a bore and the rest was awkward.
Jon walks up to her and stabs her? That's it?
The scene where the king is "selected" is just awkward and painful to watch all around. I cringed listening to Tyrion try to explain who should be king. And then there's Bran fucking Stark. What the hell did he DO this whole series? What did he do to deserve the crown? "He needs to know", yeah right, Jon needs to know about his heritage alright. So it'll end in Dany losing her shit, killing a million people and mr three eyed raven getting the throne. And being the raven, he KNEW that was how it was going to play out and did it anyway for personal gain. We never even got to see him worg into a dragon. Bran is the master of stories? What about Arya, who's story is basically Batman up to the point where she killed the king of death himself?! Bran is a waste of space.
Poor Jon. He saved the fucking world, twice and everyone hates him. Even the North, for whom he sacrificed everything. And they relegate him to the night's watch??
