What if the Arya we saw was Jaqen?
She wouldn't walk around without Needle after getting it back. Her whole demeanor was off, throwing money around and walking around without a care in the world. It wasn't her.

We already saw her face on a dead person last season.Who has an Arya mask? How do the faceless make the masks?
I am assuming she is sending the letter to Littlefinger, to take him up on his offer to use the knights of the vale.
I don't think sansa wrote to littlefinger. I think she wrote to her uncle to convince him to abandon river run and come north to help them. Brienne will convince jamie to allow him to walk away with his army and they will go north. That way they will have one of the best military minds in control of their army.
The blackish won't have a lot of men but he might being more people in as he goes and might even be able to bring in the vale army under his command since his great nephew is lord arryn.
Lord of light is not a fan of the old 7 gods. Red burned the holy men of other gods. Probably killed them for being heretics.1) oh god I see sansa messing it up, again.
like when she opened her mouth when one of the lesser lords didn't want to join Jon's army.
she should have at least told Jon what she planned on doing.
how many knights does Littlefinger have?
2) thought the Brotherhood w/o banners were good people?!
3) hm.. what did it mean when queen margaery gave Lady Thorns that drawing?
also, who thinks cersai snapped and killed Lady Thorns?
4) didn't think the fight between arya and the waif was going to be like that or end that way.
episode 9 is usually the big episode of the season.
what do you think it will be for season 6?
Jon Taking Winterfell?
Cersai/mountain killing the Sparrow and all his zealots?
So Arya is already dead then? :hmm:
I thought that was the point of her sending Brienne to Riverrun, was to enlist the aid of her uncle? Why would she need to send another letter other than the one she presumably sent with Brienne?
Ughh these fuckers give us Ian McShane and then rip him away in the same episode? Damn you GoT for taking all that is nice and pretty from me!
The Arya thing didn't go quite the way I envisioned it.
yea i was like FUCK YEA Ian McShane
then fuck this gay earth
HBO is being a beautiful being
Was nice seeing Bron back, and Jamie doing a little ass kicking. The scene where Granny was speaking with Margery went about like I suspected, shes playing the Sparrow.
A lot of things involving Arya did seem odd to me, her not actually carrying needle and I'd have thought she would have been wary of someone like the old woman creeping up on her like that. Will be interesting to see where that goes next.
The note would be flying off to Little Finger I would think myself, they do need men to assault Winterfell.
Theon snapping out of it for revenge if nothing else would be a good point, he already has such a huge guilt trip going he thought he was beyond redemption and stated it himself, his sister is trying to snap him out of it.
The hound will continue the search for the Perfect Chicken ...

by the look on jon's face, he immediately knew the route sansa took wouldn't work.

Refresh my memory: When did they show a faceless man change stature that much during a face change? I do not recall it, and was thinking they are limited to people near their own size.Theories floating around that it wasn't Arya that got the pincushion treatment, but the head faceless man testing the Waif. She was ordered not to make her suffer; she failed that test.

I still think Arya pulled this off, with the help of the actress.

Whatever the case there is some magical trickery involved, otherwise its just terrible plot armor.
I almost forgot about Lyanna Mormont, she was amazing throughout and she should be the one with dragons.
This episode really left me wanting more in a good way, cant wait for the final stretch this season.
We already saw her face on a dead person last season.
I think it is stage props and acting though. It is Arya, but she is ok and punking the waif.
I still say Waif is Arya. Fight Club like -- battling inner self.
Am I the only person who felt this season has been nothing but fan service and placating what the audience wants? Jon, alive. Arya, not some assassin no name. Dany, leader of more armies. Hound, alive and back on the prowl. Tree boy, no longer becoming a tree. Cold hands, confirmed benjen. Sorry, that's all way to fucking neat a package for GRRM.
Something didn't seem right with the Arya scene, she seemed way to calm just walking around with no care in the world, she knows she is being hunted and perhaps this was her plan.
