I thought it was going to be handled differently, that Sandor would have found peace working for the church and would become their champion. Instead it's like you said, that he took a shot at a different life and once again had to face the harsh reality that good men don't get very far. You have to be ready, willing and able to kill to get ahead or simply protect what you have. So he's going to stop pretending that a guy like him can lead a quiet normal life and go back to doing what he does best. He's probably going to go all Bronson Death Wish now, he'll take a lot of revenge on people who in his eyes have it coming. And eventually that will lead him to Zombgor.

Things that we see in the previews -

The Hound v the Mountain in the trial by combat will most likely never happen now. As Frakenmountain takes out at least one of the faith militant. It looks like he is going to rip that guy's head off for certain. :twisted: That he is not using a weapon makes me think he makes an example of one, and the rest back down. Hopefully he rekts the whole squad though.

That means a power play is coming from Cersei. So a battle led by Jamie against the Black Fish is not going to happen imo. Unless the BF surrenders the keep and rides to help Jon, Jamie will have to go away. The Knights of the Veil may start their involvement with events, by routing the Freys. Or Jamie turns on them? Looks like one of the Freys grab Pod in a rear naked choke? If they do something dishonorable it may have major fallout. Pod saved Tyrion's life, Jamie would probably help him. Wild guesses of course. Regardless of how it happens, I think Jamie is going to have to either go back to KL with his army. Or even end up holing up at Casterly Rock. Whether it be because Cersie sends a raven, Tommen is murdered, or he is forced to beat feet.

Danny lands on the roof. The way Tyrion is looking up makes me think that is the case.

Arya definitely played the waif. There looks to be a surprise mf'er moment, a chase, and Arya (I heard her shout this time) leaps off the ledge on a full run and lands on her assassin's creed style. Or conversely the waif chases her and she makes that jump to get away. The shout sounds like rage, so whatever happens, I think Arya is about to land on her. She looks healthy so either she was not the one stabbed, or it was an illusion enabled by props.

The Hound axes someone a question. He is the Punisher now, and the guilty must be punished. Yeah yeah it's my fan fiction. The Hound and the Mountain killing in the same episode, too good! The tinder is dry, the match is lit, and the blaze is about to start. Should be an epic end to the season. Ramsey getting his would be a great finale.

I'm rock hard now.

Anyone that claims to understand the whole Rickon thing is either lying or retarded. The Umbers did the dumbest thing imaginable and Ramsay did something even dumber. There was not a single second of that arc which rang true or made sense. If you don't understand it, be glad, it proves your brain is functioning enough to recognize utter bullshit.

Whoa Whoa Whoa. Hold on, there has never been a single shred of evidence to suggest that the Faceless Men have any ability to see into the future. Why Jaqen was in that dungeon has never been made clear or even hinted at anywhere in the story. He could have been in KL for 1000 different reasons and chosen to wind up in the dungeon for 1000 more. He could just as well have been going about his own business when he noticed Arya successfully passing as a boy and saw in her the makings of a future Faceless Man.

Lulz, I am definitely stretching it. Happenstance may be all it is. All I really have to go on is that Jaqen seems to know the many-faced god's mind from the way he talks. I keep thinking he has a level of communication the way the red women seem to.

Space is not the problem, time is. If the writers wanted Sandor in Kings Landing he could be there immediately with magical editing. That's now what's going to happen though. They carefully set up the vengeance story arc. He's got some people to kill slowly and painfully on his way to CleganeBowl.

I assumed that Sandor would be saved by some official church faction and would be working for the church in some capacity so that he was in place to serve as the church's champion in trial by combat. Last nights episode shot that all to hell. He's not attached to the church, he's not in the right place and he has a completely different agenda now. There's a whole new story arc for Sandor and a whole shitload of other things have to happen first to get him into King's Landing. I just don't see it happening so soon.

That, and I'm not sure that the trial by combat will happen--it seems that Zombgor will be unleashed next week to crush skulls in lieu of general decorum.

I think why we see Marg studying so hard is not just the act. She is going to go full lawyer mode, and use the scriptures against the high sparrow when the time comes. She will win in the court of public opinion? Convince Tommen the high sparrow needs to go, and is not fit to lead the faith? Kill Tommen and frame the high sparrow or faith militant for it? Going to be fun.

She's also been keeping a lock on that vag, making sure Tommen is all hot and bothered and ready to do whatever the hell she wants as soon as she commands it.

I like seeing Brienne arrive at the Blackfish and confronting Onehand Goldenboy. Think she convinces him about the reality of the White Walkers descending on the North?

Yeah, they spent a whole lot of time building up the trial by combat ad made it sound like a done deal. Now it looks like a clever red herring. Following the beatdown from Olenna Cersei might be ready for action to seize some power back from the Sparrow rather than letting him call all the shots. I'm kind of rooting for it, what's the point of creating Zombgor if you're not going to unleash him? Let's see him kick some ass.

I honestly think she is a broken woman, who no longer harbors delusions of running everything. I think her primary concern is to prevent the old woman's prophecy, and keep the king alive. I don't think he will survive the season, and that is what will bring on the fight.

I subscribe to this. I think Ceseri, at this point, is most concerned with saving Tommen and "power" is secondary to that. She's beaten down. Tired. Doesn't give a shit about the Lannister name.

Somebody has deciphered the letter based on screengrabs of the letter that Sansa Stark-Lannister-Bolton was sending last episode.

However, I didn't read it because I don't want to know what's in the letter yet. If the showrunners wanted to make it obvious, they would have made it obvious. I'll wait for the reveal next episode.
