Pretty good 3 episodes so far. I like the clerk at BevMo that is mad that his "note to find your car" app never amounted to anything. That is like everyone out here that thinks they are changing the world.
that scene is almost word for word some conversations i've had with my wife when i ask her to think of ideas for mobile apps.
watched the first 2 episodes the past couple days. i'm liking the show so far. the awkwardness is awesome. the 2nd episode was better than the first one. the scene with the stripper was pretty funny because it's so true how awkward nerds can be around girls.
im a dev myself, and i remember when my wife came to one of our xmas parties and we went out after, when we left she gave hugs to some of my coworkers, and one of them stood there with his arms at his side, he didnt know what to do.
That was the point. It wasn't just a game where your choices had consequences, it was a whole SERIES where the consequences of what you did in the first game were still supposed to be having ramifications in the third and final game. When it all wraps up, you find out that the only difference it all amounts to in the end is the color of the explosion. They were saying that he was as useless as the multiple ending.I was a bit confused about the episode where they make fun of "Big Head". They say that he is worse than "The Multiple Endings of Mass Effect 3". It would be great if there were multiple endings of Mass Effect 3. No matter what you've done, you still get the limited endings.
Last night's episode was pretty good, even if it was super predictable. I really like Gilfoyle and Dinesh.
I really helps that I've been to conferences like that and know people just like most of the twats in the show. I am so glad I don't work in Silicon Valley, and this show just serves as a reminder.
Sounds like me at QuakeCon 2003 when they paid a bunch of girls to pretend that they were interested in the nerds there.
Just finished Season 1. I think I'll save Season 2 until we get closer to Season 3 so I can binge it and have more. So far the best jokes are the subtle ones. I've got a feeling that I understand far more of the technical jokes than I am supposed to at my nerd-level... Dammit.
Great. Just finished season 2, so I'm ready.
no ... the best joke by far in the whole series so far was the whole dick-to-dick breakdown.
this level of attention was by far is what makesHBO[Mike Judge] one of the best
I don't typically like "I get that reference!" humor but this show has a lot of it and for some reason it works on this context. "Stamford Robotics! That's like Boston Dynamics!" I did LOL.
It was Stanford, right?
Because Stanford is basically next door to their house, there is a Stanford robotics and those nerds are fucking annoying....and Stamford is in Connecticut.
:hmm:
Just a typo/autocorrect but I checked just to be sure:

Can this be used to store classified data and personal correspondence to avoid the messy complications of FOIA requests?
