Bachman selling all his shares makes for an interesting story line, but doesn't seem the least bit realistic. On the Verge of launching the product - just days out - with shares worth at least $5-10M and debts of $730k? Creditors can be held off.

Creditors can be held off, parking spaces don't always magically appear, and most people don't answer their doorbells in under 3 seconds . . . except in the ~ 30 minute world of TV scripts.

I just love the Jared character more and more with every episode.

Doesn't change the fact that Laurie Bream still would've blocked the sale and only accepted them for a fraction of their value in order to force him to sell all (he only wanted to sell half) and push him out. Waiting would not have made him any money with Laurie having that kind of power and wanting him gone.

Man, Laurie is a grade a wise and beautiful woman. She totally fucked Bachman.

Is she wrong for seeing him as a fortunate, impulsive, tag-along who brings nothing but potential problems/stumbling blocks for their company? Regardless of what he just gave up for him, did you see what he just did to Bighead? He ruined both of them due to being completely unrestrained.

She thanked Richard for the extra power he accidentally granted Russ and now her because she assumes they all see Erlich the same way.

True, but I'm still not buying the notion that there wouldn't be viable alternatives in the real world. But it's a TV show, so ... whatever.

The way the presented it was the longer it went on the more his name was dragged through the mud for being broke. If he sold his shares quickly and quietly he could pay his debts and retain face.

He was trying to beat the blogger and save the company's reputation from his Bachmanetti screw-up.

I guess you can only burn so bright for so long. Show seems to be winding down now. This last ep wasn't very funny and not much seems to be going on with the crew anymore. It kind of feels like they are wrapping up the show and this will be their last season.

Sounds like you guys are missing the subtlety. Either that or you expect another "maximum tip to tip efficiency" episode.

the episode where bachman threw the party was one of the funniest episodes of the series imo. probably the funniest episode since the jerkoff algorithm episode.

I thought these last episodes where great. Can't get enough of Bighead - the simpleton who steps in the lucky puddle. The dialog with his business manager about moving the pool was brilliant.

I thought the bit with Richard briefly dating the girl who uses spaces instead of tabs seemed oddly inserted, almost like filler. It was funny, but took up too much space for what was essentially a one line gag. There could be something to the notion that the writers are running out of ideas.

How any interaction between Gilfoyle and Dinesh isn't found incredibly hilarious is beyond me. The jacket was amazing. And Jared's reaction to being on the board was priceless.

He's the best character on the show, everything he says is gold.

"They pulled our pants down and fucked us in front of our parents"

"Richard... did something happen to you?"

No way. The last 2 episodes have been excellent.

I love the part where the 2 executives are jetting off to the same destination...

"Wait! What are we doing? ..."

The way the show is going. I predict that robot Laurie will vote Richard out and put Gavin in charge after the pre test is very negative.

Seems your feels-meter is way off.

On April 21, 2016, HBO announced it had renewed the series for a fourth season to air in 2017.

Russ Hanneman's scene was the best moment of the season.

"Richard! You're here to fuck, right?"

Good. at this point, we should get at least 6 seasons, if going by my metric that measures how terrible a show like Ballers is.

Ballers is so utterly terrible, that to achieve better entertainment balance, Silicon Valley needs to saturate HBO on at least a 3:1 season ratio compared to Ballers.

Honestly, 4:1 might be more accurate.

I came to ...enjoy? it the last 2 or 3 episodes. I don't know why. Maybe it's because the Rock became interesting somewhat.

The show needs jokes, though. If it had humor, it would be good.
