while i really enjoy the show, i do feel like they are recycling the same storyline over and over. i mean the same storyline happened like 3 times (or more) this season. then all hope is lost and the company is no more blah blah, then something bails them out. i hope they can change the formula up a bit next season. if it weren't for the characters of the show i'm not sure how much i'd enjoy the recycled storyline during the same season.

Yeah, it seems like we just did a giant circle back to season 1 where they are back at the incubator with Bachmann in charge.

LOL! Just started watching last night's episode and I'm already laughing at how Gavin totally belittled the impressive effort his security guy was putting into solving his dead-elephant problem and, instead of being impressed, it just made him underwhelmed by his other associate being unable to reach that high-set bar.

...That's the whole point of the show, it's a bunch of smart morons who have a revolutionary product, but every time they near success someone fucks them or they fuck themselves. It's the epitome of Silicon Valley, and what makes the show so funny.

I think they've ended up back in Bachmens house at the end of every season, always back at square one.

Every season pretty much sends the same way as well.

Last night was great, though. Bachman's MOLO or whatever it's called story was awesome. Better than the jerk-off discussion from season 1.

Jared is now my favorite character.

I loved the part where Jared thinks he can wave off curiosity by saying that he was crying "for ordinary reasons." :awe:

His inability to conceal his nervousness anytime they mention the uptick is perfect.

Gavin bringing the pit bull[dog] in to berate it and discuss how ugly it is and now being portrayed as an animal lover with a statue where the elephant died... :awe:

my favorite jared moments from last night were tied for him staring out the window at richard as he left to the meeting, and the part where he is on the bed with richard and he is mimicking everything that richard does.

not even CLOSE pal

The jerkoff scene already wasn't the greatest thing this show has done. The fascination with that joke on these forums has baffled me.

It's great, but not really special in any way.

That being said, a lot of Bachman's monologue last night also had a bit to do with jerking off, so let's say they are at least equal.

"Would it make you feel better to strike me?"

"Richard? We have a secret!"

LOL!

Damn, didn't realize the finale is here already.

I'm also getting a bit tired of the recycled plot lines, but I still enjoy the show. The great characters make up for the story (though I want to have my cake and eat it too).

I think that it was a weak attempt to match the "middle out" scene from the season 1 finale. It was funny, but not as good.

We do an Off The Grid competition at work twice a year. I presented our project and my powerpoint slides were made up for moments and references to the series. We won, all expenses paid trip to washington DC in October to present it to a couple thousand customers. Thank you, Pied Piper!

It's killing me. If your show is only a half hour, you need to have more than 10 episodes each year/season!

As good as it sounds on paper, I don't think they have the amount of content for 10+ hours without it dragging or losing the edge.

FYI as far as keeping track of shows starting and such.... I haven't looked around a lot, but I do like this site: http://at-my.tv/

There is a listing of shows, you check off which ones you are interested in and it populates your calendar with the dates and times that new episodes air.

With smartphone apps and such, there might be something better - I'm not sure.... It was just my first find and I've stuck to it.
