HBO's original: Silicon Valley... Liking it so far! 'Nerdy entourage'

Just watched the second show...if they keep toning down the awkwardness, I might just stick with it. I really don't care if it's "funny" (they'll inject 3 nerd jokes and a few coding buzz words every episode regardless), but I like where the story has gone in just this second episode.

I saw that in the previews ~59 times before the season began. It lost what would have been its funny for me.

Pretty good 3 episodes so far. I like the clerk at BevMo that is mad that his "note to find your car" app never amounted to anything. That is like everyone out here that thinks they are changing the world.

Yeah, it seems like Judge is pretty good at capturing just how self absorbed a lot of SV really is. I am starting to like the characters a bit more. Martin Starr's character is probably the best. His comments on the Pied Piper story are pretty good.


Also, I didn't know this, but Judge was a programmer himself.

Peter Gregory reminds me of someone with aspergers or autism, very similar to the main character. Sucks the actor died though. I wonder how they will replace him in the show.

that scene is almost word for word some conversations i've had with my wife when i ask her to think of ideas for mobile apps.

i noticed that as well. while watching it i was like 'man that guy looks familiar...' then i saw madmen this past sunday and was like 'OOOH THAT GUY!!'

Still loving it. Definitely a keeper for me. Bad thing is now I've got to go back and catch up on several seasons of Veep. Just got HBO a few weeks ago for GoT.

I was a bit confused about the episode where they make fun of "Big Head". They say that he is worse than "The Multiple Endings of Mass Effect 3". It would be great if there were multiple endings of Mass Effect 3. No matter what you've done, you still get the limited endings.
