What is going on with Gwart. She seems really special. Jared adopting her because he missed mentoring Richard was a big step down.

Still cracking up at Jared absolutely losing it on Richard when he talked down about Gwart.

Pretty solid season so far. Will be interesting to see how it all wraps up.

Gilfoyle needs a new angle, but I guess it's too late for that. Everyone else has some range in their character.

I was dying at that. "I was state-raised! You think I'm scared to catch a case of some bullshit?"

So... were... 2 episodes away from this TV series coming to a complete and total ending.....

What is everyone's thoughts of the season thus far?

I'm sad it's going to end Such a damn good show that for once gives an actual semi-decent portrayal of geek life instead of the typical boring shit like Big Bang Theory... LOL NERDS ARE SO FUNNY AND DUMB LOL!

I'm looking forward to Russfest. It might even be a good opportunity for a cameo appearance of Erlick Bachmann

It was a pretty good show for what it was trying to be but the episodes are way too spaced out. I forget what the hell is going on because the seasons (at least the last one) was 1.5-2 years apart.

I feel like the show has been repetitive and unoriginal the last couple seasons. Still has its moments though. Haven't seen the finale yet but seems like there's a lot of loose ends to tie up still.

anybody find the finale went a little grim with the last scenes as far as implications?
  • Jian Yang functionally found Erlich Bachman who had cashed in his 10% of pp for 20M $, and pretty much stole Erlich's money/identity with the implication being he killed him as well.
  • Richard lost his thumbdrive with the pp code, while Monica is possibly working for the NSA. implying that she might have sold/given the code to the NSA.
  • Bill Gates didnt buy into the pp code failing, possibly tempting him to try the same.

I can't recall if it was like this in previous seasons... maybe because they were more humorous in their approach, but the one thing that kept cropping up is that as soon as Pied Piper ran into a problem, they often had it fixed in five minutes on the show.

I haven't watched this season, but you pretty much just described nearly every season of this show in a nutshell.

Not saying it isn't true or arguing against it but simply asking.... Isn't that kind of every plot? Things are great. Oh shit, something happened.... panic... *whew* fixed it. We all live happily ever after.... Doesn't that describe just about every plot line?

Gilfoyle really calmed down. It was supposedly 10 years later but he looked and acted as 30 years had passed.

Finally watched the episode last night... to be honest, I thought the whole thing just kinda sucked. The whole rat thing was just... dumb IMO....

And that being the entire reason for PP collapse?

Keep in mind that my point was more about the time it takes to solve the problem. There's obviously not much tension if you always solve problems within a few minutes, but that isn't really necessary in a comedy... unless it's not that funny. That's kind of the thing... this season wasn't that funny to me, and so I guess all I had to watch it for was the goofy tech antics.

I was pretty underwhelmed by the finale. I think this show just ran its course with me, maybe a season or two ago. Fun ride while it lasted though.
