I don't have cable, so if I want to be apart of the rest of society and watch a show I have to find it by other means... with that said, I just watched the first two episodes of season 1 and it's BORING!

Does this show get better? Why are people hyping this so much?

Yea, it gets better. Season 1 is good.

Season 2, however, runs right off the tracks. Couldn't wait for it to be over so they could change the plot.

I enjoyed both seasons, though I thought season 1 was better than season 2. And I agree with Makenito, Anna Pequin sucks. She just really irritates me. I wish they could have found a better actress for the role of Sookie.

The book(s) being better than the film/show is nothing new. Best to realize that and move on.

I think Ann Paquin is perfect as Sookie. I'm not a big fan of her casualness when it comes to such major crisises, but I think that has more to do with the script. Then again, she's a super-natural being, so maybe that's just another power of hers.

Bill, Sam and especially Eric all have great bodies, and make my woman squeal when they run around naked.

The sex is pretty damn hot. Sookie and Bill really pull it off well, but they are also a real-life couple, so I'm sure that helps.

I think the tv show is *miles* better than the book... Tara and Lafayette make the show for me and they're barely in the books at all.

Ehh, ok - have you read the books? they are NOTHING like the characters.

I may have told an untruth - the guys are huttt. They make the sex hot. What I think I dont like is the fact that none of the characters are what you imagine while reading.. and Anna pequinn soo is nothing close to the Sookie I had imagined. Im not a big fan of her period, but I dont think she does the character justice.

Liken this to how she did not do justice to Rogue.
