Basic Stats:
Mobo: MSI NF725GTM-P31 (AMI bios)
CPU: Athlon II 245
RAM: 2g ddr2 800
VIDEO: HD 4830 (OC'd mildly)
PSU: CORSAIR TX650
I have an HD 4830 video card and a brand name, 80+ certified 650W single-rail power supply. If I try to boot with the card in, it'll give me a longish beep, 8 short beeps, then a final beep (sounds a bit different than the short beeps, and it's the one I always get when it's time to POST). The computer will boot, Windows 7 will load, and I'll hear all of the normal sounds associated with a loadup. However, through all of this, there will be NO video.
If I remove the 4830, plug a cable into the onboard video, and power on, there are no extraneous beeps, the video comes on like normal, and everything boots and loads like it should.
I think the signs (and my initial research) seem to indicate the video card, but without having a spare card or psu, I don't know if there's anything I can do to be sure. I've been able to rule out the motherboard, ram, and cpu.
EDIT: Now, if it IS the video, and it's an OC'ing problem (which I can't imagine it is, I've not had heat problems and it ran stable for quite some time), is there a way to return it to stock settings?
