My local Office Depot (S. Indianapolis/Greenwood on 31) had the 300gb 16mb cache Maxtor on clearance for $174.99 + tax out the door. Not as good as Newegg's $167.99 shipped, but not too shabby considering it's B&M with no accursed rebates.

300g seagate for $119 no tax free shipping is worth waiting for the rebate.
I'm on my 3rd 300g (plus a couple other seagates from outpost), and the rebate checks are coming in faster now - with no followup necessary.
