HD3850 Core Clock?

I have a feeling my core clock on my graphic card is set wrong. It says it's at 300 but I see it on newegg as 668, could someone please tell me how i could change it back or if it's even wrong. Thankyou so much

It's probably the normal speed while your sitting on the desktop. A quick benchmark would tell you if the card is performing up to its abilities.

2D clocks, as tk11 said.
Run a game and look at the clocks while it's going.
