I'm having a very annoying problem with my HDD LED, b/c I cannot get it to light at all. I know this is not a mission critical problem and my computer works without it, but for all those anal perfectionists out there like me...you understand the annoyance factor. I tested the bulb and cable out to make sure that it wasn't something stupid like the bulb. My friend has the exact same board and it works just fine, so I made sure mine is connected the exact same way, so the + and - pins are correct. For those of you familiar with the BXMaster, you know it has the Promise chip built in for onboard ATA66 support. I have two drives connected to these ATA66 ports, each drive set up as Master on the separate ports. My aforementioned friend has only one drive set up on one of the ATA66 ports and his HDD LED works fine connected to the standard pins. To further complicate matters, the BXMaster has additional pins for an LED to monitor the additional ATA66 ports built in. My friend's worked without having to use these pins, but I tried them as well with no success. I am really at a loss here, as I have expended all my ideas at diagnosing this problem.
