hdd light w/ new board

i have the asus p4b533, and call me stupid, but i can't get the freakin light to blink. you know, the hdd activity light. i dont see it in the book either

anyone?

Do you have the hdd LED connected to your case correctly?
It's not really essential that it work as long as your drive works correctly cause it's not needed.
If it is connected to the case correctly then the LED might be burnt out or the cable connecting it might be damaged.

its a brand new lian li case, so i doubt it is the light / cable fault

the problem is i dont know where to plug it in on this board

it simply doesn't have a spot for it

Proper polarity is necessary for LEDs. If it doesn't light, simply reverse the cable connector. The MB manual should tell you where to plug it in.
