I've ordered from them 4 or 5 times. As you mentioned, great prices, reasonable $ shipping and fast shipping. I ordered something on black friday and it was here on monday. that was from CA to GA.

I'm not much in the know about HDMI vX.X specs. Are these v1.3a cables updated over the previous HDMI cables they carried?

They also have $6.39 Wii component cables. These don't come with the wii and improve the images if you have an hd tv with component input. Comes to roughly $10 with shipping.

The wii branded component cables cost about $20 + shipping from Amazon.

Yes, the HDMI 1.3 spec was only recently approved, it brings deep color(>30bit), faster signaling for higher resolutions in the future, and TrueHD support, and other things.

It is awesome of monoprice to switch so soon to 1.3 cables while everyone else will gladly sell you an older one knowing it might be EOL in a few years.

I just ordered a 6ft hdmi cable and 100ft cat 6 from mono last week, they sent me an "apology" that they upgraded me to a 1.3 hdmi cable for the same price!
