Question HDMI or DP for gaming?

Hi All,

I recently built a new system including a Dell monitor: https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/del...23d/apd/210-bejf/monitors-monitor-accessories and RTX 4080

It has both DP and HDMI ports. I did some light reading and not sure if it makes a difference which one I use. Is one better than the other for gaming?

Theres not a lot in it. You'll want to use DP though as (I assume) you'll be wanting to use Gsync.

On PCs DP is generally better than HDMI. It's more likely to support more bandwidth, higher refresh rates, higher resolutions, and/or better *sync.
