Last week I watched an hour of the westminster dog show... just because it looked so awesome in HD.

Eh, it's pretty I guess. It's a lot of money to spend to do nothing and watch other people do stuff. How many actual roller coasters could you ride for the price of one HDTV set?

oh man i wish comcast would do out some HD channels.

I want a HD TV but with NO channels on comcast i dont want to waste my money.

Now i might go with a dish soon since they have some HD tv content.

Several dozen. Too bad my HDTV has so many other great uses besides rollercoasters

But for now Tivo can record HD, it just looks like normal TV.

Just buy a HDTV Tuner card, use your computer as a Tivo

Dish Network has it The Dish922, only problem is it costs $899+

I'm getting ready to dump comcast for Dish. Dish is the same price but more channels and discovery HD. Plus I can get OTA with their tuner.

In case you missed the NEWS-FLASH. ALL TV=TEH SUCK! Even the history channel has lowered the intelligence of its target audiance to such a point where no self respecting person should be caught dead absorbing more than half an hour (at the most) of the local news (which sucks too for the most part).

Check your radiation badge at the door. They do cancer studies all the time, but never TV studies... As for me, I havent lived with a TV for 7 months now and I'm gunna keep it that way, not even a PCI slot... they're all full... :beer:

Well, my HD cable box can record shows! I currently have on there the Alison Krauss and Union Station show from their concert here in town, a Cage Fighting show and Wild Things (haven't watched it yet, though.)
