So - my job is a pain in the ass and even more so the HR (btw - she's remote about 200+ miles away from the office).
Anyway, we have some really shitty insurance that seems to change daily through some broker - I don't personally have the insurance as I have BCBS through my wife (teacher) but some of my direct reports have to deal with this shit and it's starting to piss me off. The HR chick won't do anything but the bare minimum and whatever is cheapest, no effort what-so-ever to find some broker that doesn't offer anything but excuses when they come out to visit.
I'm in IT - I have no idea how to go about looking at quotes for insurance but I have at least a "little" pull in the company so I wanted to get some opinions on how I could possibly go out on my own and find a broker and what I should look for - we have almost 65 employees so I'm thinking we could do some sort of group for a discount but - honestly I have no idea what I'm looking for which is why I'm here asking for advice. ^_^
