Finally got my numbers in for 2014.
Healthcare went up $4/month to $168/month.
Dental stayed the same at $48/month.
Vision stayed around the same ~$10/month.
I only ever get PPO. Either way, I find my rates rather ugly to begin with. I'm getting hitched this year and will switch over my fiance's benefits.
If your plans are like ours, it's cheaper for my wife and I to be on separate individual plans. Generally, companies pick one amount that they'll subsidize (say $400/month) and pay that much for everyone's plan, regardless of whether they are individual, man + wife, or family. So you're getting mostly subsidized for your own plan, but not subsidized at all for your spouse or kids.
My rate went up 8% this year, which is fairly typical. With premium increases outpacing inflation by so much, I don't see how this is sustainable beyond 20 or 30 years without massive changes.
