This is frustrating. Every time I try to open a pack now the game crashes. iPhone 6. The most frustrating aspect is it still treats it as an open pack so I have to go figure out what I pulled.

finished opening my packs. Had the big zilch for legendaries after first 30, then got 2 in back to backs. Got to more over the remainder, or so I thought. Opened up last one and it had Nat but the graphics didn't go off for it so didn't realize it at first but ended up with 5 all together. Think that is as many as in last two expansions combined for me.

On the plus side, I got at least 15 golden cards, those things dropping like flies.
On the not so plus side, about 700 dust from dupes already.

I opened 133 packs so far. I still haven't done the quests yet for the 10 packs or spent my gold. I ended up getting 2x new mukla, 2x rogue legendary, the new deathwing and the new 1 mana legendary. Sucks that I got repeats already over so few legendaries but I have a lot of dust saved up.

I got the Rogue and Warrior, N'Zoth the Corrupter (summons deathrattle minions), and a gold Shifter Zerus.

Got Anomalus, Cho'Gall, Fandral, Hallazeal, New Nat, Vek'Lor and crafted the new Deathwing, Malborok, Soggoth and added Eadrix the Pure to my Paladin.

Can't wait to try a Paladin Dragon deck with the new Deathwing.

But after opening my packs I tried a Standard Paladin deck built around Divine Shield and Taunt. Some new cards boost minions with Divine Shield and so far it seems to work. It's a bit slow but it also slows my opponent since he must go though the Divine Shield.

IIRC, my deck goes like this:

Think mine were anom, nat, sog, chogall, and yogg.

And I hope to god they've fixed the servers today. Lost about 8 games due to server issues last night, and that's not included the 3-4 others where i'd get disconnected after selecting to start a game and on log on it says i've lost the last match.

Haven't played much but not sure I'm going to enjoy this expansion. The fact that a lot of the Cthun buff cards are both pretty good in their own right and provide the Cthun synergy is a bit curious. And maybe I was just unlucky but I got Yoggsaron'd pretty hard last night - it cast a ton of secrets, ignored my minions and hit my face with a few spells. The cards seem to encourage very gimmicky decks is my first impression.

Indeed, C'Thun is a pain when dropped at 15+. I got stumped yesterday when he dropped a 17/17 C'Thun, which I managed with Keeper of Uldaman...but then he dropped a minion that made him put C'Thun back in his hand and boosted it again to 20/20, dropped it, killed my board and killed me.

After that I added a BGH

Well keep in mind there is yet ANOTHER card which will put Cthun back into your deck if it's been killed lol. It's a neutral rare that's like.. 7/8 for 8 or something along those lines.

There are a couple fun counters to cthun. Play Sylvanus on turn 9 and cthun becomes a very risky play. Or, gurubashi berzerker- if it survives, which it probably will it gets +3 for each time it gets pinged. First time I saw that interaction I was gifted a 14/3 berzerker and my opponent immediately conceded.

Nah, that sounds correct. Kind of like how polying Stalagg would prevent Feugan's deathrattle from doing anything, etc.

I spent 5k gold and got 3 legendaries, Ragnaros (funny flavor text), Xeril (rogue), and gold Hallazeal (shaman). Hallazeal seems kind of crappy.

I might play arena for a few weeks until the meta settles down. Haven't played arena in a LONG time. Aggro seems like a decent counter to C'thun decks.

I would consider it a bug, but found that if you poly/transform cthun the card that puts a dead one back into draw pile does not function.

Sounds correct to me. You no longer have a C'thun, it is a sheep.

Theoretically, no. C'thun was turned into the 1-cost 1/1 sheep. If the minion gets sent back to your hand, it will be the sheep card. If the sheep is killed and you use a card that resurrects dead minions, you will get the 1/1 sheep back.

On that note, Polymorph, Mind Control and Entomb are arguably the strongest removals in the game. Thinking about it, I might go from 1x Entomb to 2x Entomb on my Priest to try to counter some of these buff-based, beefier minions.

Exactly... once you're transmogrified, you're indistinguishable from the new subject.

C'thun buffs work even if he is not in your deck I believe. If you use a "Discover a minion" effect you can discover C'thun and he will have the buffs. You won't see the buff animation though unless you put it in your deck according to several reddit posts.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were some bugs to this whole thing.

It it doesn't exist, why does the game show it being buffed.

I'm 99% sure that the C'Thun current stats are stored in an "aura" for the player, similar to the way those tavern brawls worked from a few months ago (pick 1 of 3 effects for the match). I think when the buffs activate, it's just showing a generic C'Thun card with what the stats would be.

C'thun buffs are attached to the hero rather than to C'thun itself.

Yogg is pretty crappy since it's so random. I put him in with a mage with mostly spells. The first time he came out, he killed himself with the 2nd spell. The rest cast but did nothing useful.

I had the most fun in months playing a Shaman deck:
Yogg
2x new hammer
27 spells.

It's not as terribad as you would think. 2 Healing Waves always draw Yogg (provided he's not in your hand) for 14 health each. Most epic of the night was when Yogg Shadow Stepped himself; double the fun.

Yeah, playing a bit more I think I just had some bad luck with Yogg when he wrecked me. Other times I've seen him it seems to trend to more of a 'neutral' effect overall. Could go any way though. I'm surprised that when one of Yogg's spells kills/removes Yogg himself that the effect still continues to fire though.

The effect seems to stop if he gets poly'd / transformed.
