Forget to mention a couple stories from over the weekend. Had a lock in arena with 3 blood imps. On one match had 2 in hand on turn 1, played one and coined the second so the were both 2 health going into turn 2. Match didn't last till about turn 6, the imps ended at 4 health each and 2 at once buffed my cards enough to prevent easy clears.

Was facing a priest and screwed myself. He started with the 0/4 taunt and the 1/3 that gains +2 after heals. I thought this was the same as the similar card where the + gained goes away each turn so was going for the taunt first. He gave the taunt health =attack after healing it and I didn't realize till the second turn that his attack was persistent so I just bailed that match as I drew nothing playable.

Was going against a rogue that played the entire board sap twice in a row, and each time I ended up losing my draw card as being over the limit. He was low enough in health from damage already done though that I still smacked him good.

This game as to have the most weirdness to it when it comes to win/lose.

How often I thought I had the control, was almost full HP, toher player down to the low 10s...and then BAM! In my face with some freakishly powerful combos out of nowhere...

Gotta love to learn from that lol.

just fudged myself so bad in arena about to toss my keyboard across the room. Was on a 7-2 run, mid battle against a rogue and when I went to grab my mouse at start of my turn, it clicked the end turn button....@#%$$@#$#@. Ended up losing and killing the run.

So I can play on my tablet just from the website? When I checked it out yesterday, I only saw the downloads for PC and Mac.

I had to wait a minute or two before it actually started doing the install

Did Blizzard announce a release window? I heard that the iPad version was quite playable at BlizzCon, which makes me wonder if it will at least come out in beta soon. I do recall that Blizzard said that the iPhone and Android version would be coming later. I guess that makes sense since the phone versions will probably need a completely different way to display the game.

I remember having issues installing it, but I can't remember what the issue was. Are you using Blizzard's stand-alone installer or the Battle.Net client?

They only "hard" dates they mentioned was open beta in december and ios/android version after full release, kinda saying during the summer to be a to look for time frame.

As we can see the open portion already went a month or more late, depending on what part of decemeber you were expecting, and the minion dancing bug still seems no where near being fixed. Assuming they still have a minimalist staff for it, you could expect they are not ported the versions over to the tablets with any regularity and are waiting for a more stable pc edition.

Wow this game is all about randomness than actually skill for sure. lol

20 game losses in a row, then 5 wins in a row. I've went from winning by one hit to dying in one move with full health. I've had a hand with all +1 minion damage, no minions. lol

To be clear, when you say iOS, are you including the iPad in that? I ask because I recall Blizzard stating that the iPhone and Android versions will be coming after the iPad version as it was already in development.

Both are tablet verion. Phone version would be sometime even later as they work out the control interface on the smaller screen size.

I was using the Battle.net client. Turned out my Starcraft 2 install was causing problems. I uninstalled it and then deleted agent.db and then everything went smoothly.

I'm having the same thought about this game lol.

I can win 6+ games in a row in ranked, then lose...
Or I can lose 15+ games in casual, then win 1 and lose another 10+...

In Ranked I do A LOT better and i'm regularly on a win streak and up my rank of at least 2 ranks when I play.

But it's still damn entertaining that's for sure. But when I don't do well I switch to "easy mode" WoW to win and feel better then come back lol.

To be fair I blame Blizzard terrible match making. I had the same experience with playing SC2 when it came out. hehe

Rng still plays a huge factor, especially when you consider that small deck size and slow draw rate.

Rng is a large factor in every card game though. It just wouldn't be any fun if it was "play whatever card you want".

If you guys are losing 10 games in a row, chances are, you're not at the appropriate ranking or something incredible wrong. Granted, before a certain rank, you don't lose any skill, so you could just be out of luck as far as that equalizing. I'd seriously start looking into strategies and try to understand why you lose and how that could be prevented.

It's probably a mix of being new (not knowing good strategies and/or fun tricks) and a severe lack of good cards. For anyone that's new, keep in mind that leveling up a class gives you good class-specific cards.

That is true. However, even for the newest players, leveling up each class to 10 will only give you the class specific cards and the most basic neutral cards. Going into ranked is probably a bad idea until you've gotten decent enough cards you're deck has a chance. Arena is probably the best way to learn the game (as you get random cards and no matter what you get a pack IIRC). If you were going to spend the money on a pack, simply spending it on arena is probably a better deal, experience and value wise.
