Leveled my warrior to 60 playing Dragon Warrior yesterday. So much fun beating those face hunter decks. Now I've switched to playing shaman as well.
Priests have traditionally been the worst matchup for shamans. Thankfully it seems people have begun to remove shadow madness and cabal shadow priests from their deck lists, the two cards which absolutely reck shamans.
It's still favoured for priests, though I've managed to beat a few with my midrange shaman deck.
Decklist
The strategy is to flood the board early, and using rockbiters as removal rather than burst. Haunted creepers are awesome by themselves but combined with flametongue totem they can win the game right there.
Healing wave is the healing spell shamans needed. The extra heal will rarely be needed against slow decks, and it's most likely to trigger against aggro decks.
Defender of argus really helps in face hunter matchups.
Piloted shredder is still the best 4 drop. Don't bother with totem carvers or fireguard destroyers.
Tuskarr totemic is an awesome card. It's a 3 mana 3/2. So basically you get a 1 mana hero power with a 2 drop, which is what shaman's hero power is worth. So the card is fine even if you get the worst totem. But incredible value most of the time. Make sure you position this card correctly.
Fire elementals, sylvanas and dr. boom are the big threats. Meanwhile earth shock x2, hex x2, BGH x1 really come in handy to remove.
Thunder bluff valiants serve as finishers.
Edit: Just took a look at trump's totem deck. It looks like he's running 2x azure drakes instead of 2x mana tide totems. 2x zombie chows instead of Big game hunter and sylvanas. Rest of the deck is identical.
Just goes to show, most decent decks look 99% same in this game. And also, it makes me happy with my deck building skills
