I think i can NEVER beat a taunt druid, it takes at least 2 of my minions to kill them (or at least 2 cards) so i finally run out of options if i have to use 2 cards to kill every 1 card the druid casts
That's what happens when you play zoo and can't maintain board control. As you mention, you probably need to consider using owls. At that point, you can silence the taunts and just ignore them. A beefy taunt with said taunt removed isn't that useful against such a large board, because at best, it can only kill a single minion at a time. If it kills one, you'll just replace it with another, which is what makes zoo... zoo!
Since you're playing Warlock, you can also consider using some of your Warlock spells such as Power Overwhelming (grants +4/4 but dies at the end of the turn) on a weak minion. You can also use Power Overwhelming combined with Shadowflame (4-cost, destroys a minion and deals its damage to all enemy minions) to wipe the enemy's board. Combined, it's an expensive way to clear (1 + 4 + minion cost), but it can deal a
ton of damage. You can also attack with the minion first and then cast it.
edit: oh and i hate when im having a decent match up against someone and lategame comes and he starts dropping legendary after legendary... and i dont have answers to a ysera, ragnarok, alextrassa, cairne, silvanas coming one after the other
If you're playing zoo and you're making it to Ysera, Ragnaros, or Alexstrasza, something has gone really, really wrong. However, that just screams Big Game Hunter (3-cost 4/2 that can auto-kill anything with an attack 7 or above) to me!
The hunter challenge was rather interesting, a deck of 1/1 that puts a beast into your hand on death. First time I barely lost when he did the kill all and make them into trends 2 times in a row. Then was able to better play the spore game and wiped him out.
I think I got
really lucky during both of the class challenges. On the Mage challenge, I drew Baron Rivendare (4-cost that doubles friendly Deathrattle effects) on turn 2. I think I also ended up drawing Cairne on turn 5. I was able to keep Rivendare alive pretty easily by using the Slime Belcher, as once Heigan killed it, I just gained two 1/2 taunts instead. I also ended up with two Baines at once, which was awesome. :awe:
On the Hunter class challenge, I got lucky because I ended up getting a Scavenging Hyena very early on. As you would imagine, having 30 1/1 beasts in your Hunter deck combined with a Scavenging Hyena (gains 2/1 per beast death) is rather ridiculous! The worst part was when Loatheb copied said Hyena and also had a rather powerful minion on the board. Unfortunately, RNG didn't grant me an Ironbeak Owl, but I did get a wonderful Captain's Parrot (1-cost 1/1 that summons a random Pirate
from your deck)... yay....
Main thing I want now after playing the adventure is to have more/selectable hero abilities.
I think that would be pretty cool if you could choose between 2-3 hero powers per class, which could serve as being like a "talent spec". I'm just thinking of what they could do, and a Priest idea popped into my head: Renew, puts an effect on a friendly minion that restores 1 health at the end (or start, not sure which is better) of your turn. It's like a guaranteed, targeted Healing Totem.
