2 bad legendaries = 1 good legendary.

I crafted Vol'jin. He's strong and my Deathrattle / Tempo priest deck was already my best deck. Plus I got 2 shrinkmeisters out of my free packs plus a couple of arena packs. Worked pretty well. Would be better with cabal, but I have none.

He may get nerfed later, he's pretty strong. But at least you get your value from him even if he gets nerfed.

Damn not bad at all. I really want the warrior legendary.

I only ended up with 4 legendaries from my 71 packs, I got Troggzor, the gold Neptulon, and 2 of the fucking mech heads lol. But I got almost all the commons/blues/at least 1 of the purples so I was pretty happy about it in the end. I used my dust reserves to craft a Vol'jin because that guy looks crazy.

So far it's not all it's crackced up to be. I have yet to get a bomb to go off.

I got absolute crap with my packs. Had enough for 24 packs. I got no legendaries, 2 epics, 24 rares (of which 7 were target dummy, 3 grove tenders, 4 gnomish experimenters... so half were absolute crap) (I did get 1 mech-bear-cat, 1 colbalt guardian)

Hmm I got some interesting cards from my freebies, but nothing too crazy. The most interesting is probably the Enhance-o Mechano. I also got a golden Madder Bomber.

I'm currently waiting for a good deal on iTunes gift cards or something so I can pick up cards on the cheap. Makes me wish that I would've got in on the $100 for $75 deal that was on eBay.

Opened another 10 packs and nothing good so far.

Play the tutorial, it's not that bad to get into. I would play the AI a few times before looking at guides and trying to build a deck.

Trump is a great HS streamer and give lots of great tips while he plays. He also play Ranked and Arena and both modes he'll throw a lot of constructive opinions and advices that will help you understand the game better.

Also I would highly recommend Lifecoach1981, you can find VODs of him on his twitch channel. It's really interesting to listen to the way he thinks about his plays. The guy's brain goes a mile a minute.

man i have a trouble with this game...

the expansion packs come too close one to the oher... and i have the urge to have the cards to think decks... so i want all the cards... so i cant wait to get them f2p...but its damn costy to buy 120 packs lol to maybe have the collection... the same happened to me in MTG 15 years ago lol.

that being said.... i was able to get 10 packs from entry+saved money... i got 1 legendary.
Then i bought 40 packs... and besides Malganis i think i got a lot of crap.

I remember when i started playing hearthstone i was like "im only gonna play warlock, because i always play warlock in my games", i made a murlock deck and then a zoo. From what i started getting in the packs i ended up playing a p2w warrior (when ifirst started i bought a TON of packs)
Now with gvg i wanna see if i can go back to my beloved warlock (i always disliked handlock although i like the creativity of its concept)

Luckily after the packs i got almost all the worthy warlock cards (malganis, the new demonfire, the directdamage+imp summon, darkbombs, and the new demons... i only miss the mech that dies after each turn if i dont have more minions)

But it doesnt matter what i do, the warlock cards always seem to be terribad in comparison to the other cards :S why blizzard hates warlockssssssssssss

ps: btw there are some really nice cards with the milling concept and i cant resist the urge to do a deck of that LOL

Warlock cards have to be weak because their class power is so broken haha. If they had a lot of strong cards on top of having double draw they would be the most overpowered class by far.


It does seem like the new demons make that playstyle viable which is kinda insane. Now if you queue into a Warlock you have to be prepared to play Zoo, Handlock (which is only stronger with healbot and bombs) or Demonlock. No other class has that much variance in their playstyle.

the warlock decks are the decks that use the least amoun of class specific cards, at least minions

Zoo has like the flameimp, soulfire and doomguard
handlock has like... jaraxxus, siphon soul and shadowflame

finally started playing mage again... absolutely no way unstable portal won't get nerfed. it gives legendaries very often... plus it lowers the cost of them. so leroy only costs 2... and even non-legendaries get crazy good. arcane golem turns into a 4/2 charge that costs ZERO

ok i got all the warlock cards... ill try getting all the warrior cards and ill start laddering, im still at rank 20 this month... I havent felt confident with my gvg decks yet

I did some kind of handlock with some of the new cards... sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt

the mistress of pain (2 mana 1/4 you heal the damage she deals) after putting demonhearth on her (5 mana +5/+5) won me a couple games. If the opponent doesnt have a response fast you start getting healing for 6 everyturn for free and goes ham

I've faced a TON of mech decks lately. Its a pretty fast deck but im still not sure its that good, they have sinergy but i dont feel they snowball too much like... for instance... murlocks that if you give them freedom they become monsters when you buff the tidecaller and you drop the Seer and the Warleader

I also faced a Pirate Rogue, killed me by turn 7. there are some neat pirate cards now

Here's the deck i'm gonna try:

I removed the Scarlet Purifier, Bolvar and Hogger and replaced them with 2x Avenge and 1x Defender of Argus for more utility. Yesterday I ended my evening with a 11-2 streak. I really love this deck and most of the time I have something useful to play on my turn.

My best moment yet was:

Turn 7 -> Power +Muster for Battle + Seal of light
Turn 8 -> I still have my 4 Silver Hand recruits on the board + 1 taunt so I play: Coin + Quartermaster + Enhance-o Mechano which gave 1 taunt, 1 divine shiel and 2 windfury

That was soooooo satisfying!

Muster for Battle is really an amazing card for the paladin. You can't really rely on the Quatermaster+Enhance-o Mechano combo but it's still a great card on it's own.

One other moment was when I had 3 minions on the board and at the start of turn 8 I player 2x Enhance-o Mechano...pure awesome!
