Yeah. I actually had Reno in an Arena run the other day and only 2x of a single card (the 3/5 Trog) in the entire deck. So as long as I had drawn at least one of the trogs into my hand then Reno would work.

Thanks. Just confirmed it myself. This makes Reno even more powerful because you are not required to play 29 different cards in your deck. Just need to keep track of how many left you have of the duplicates and seeing as you would normally need Reno mid-to-late game, chances are good, duplicates will be used by then.

Set up a control warrior with Reno, which is working well so far. Playing vs mage, very late in the game, and I'm down to 13 health. He fireballs my face; next turn Reno. Mage fireballs his own face... gg, concede.

lol. Been using it with Warlock myself. Hit and miss, but it's mostly because I was under the impression the initial deck could not contain duplicates.

Been too busy to get around to the new adventure yet, any difference this time around for buying with $ or gold?

Previous ones gave a cardback and/or other items if you paid with $$, that still the case?

I don't think $$ gets you anything additional. However if you are EVER going to spend real money on hearthstone, spending on adventures is more economical than buying packs for a "booster pack" expansion.

$20 vs 2800 gold. Packs would have to cost 71 cents to be more economical.

Not sure I'll be buying packs again, so I'm buying with gold. Had 4500 gold saved up anyway.

I fortunately still have some BNet balance from liquidating my D3 gold prior to expansion lol, so I just picked it up for "cash".

Oh the rage! So, I was fighting a mech mage with my ramp druid (in ranked), and he just keeps on getting the perfect cards... I mean, there was nothing I could do. He has full board control from turn 1 onwards (he popped out mechwarpper turn 1 and that was it for me). Turn 2 I responded by popping innervate and playing piloted shredder. He pops down annoy-o-tron and a do 3 random damage (all of which hit my shredder, killing it). And it just goes from there...

So come turn 7, I am really getting on the ropes (down to like 22 health, nothing on the board and nothing left in my hand that can stem the pain this turn), but manage to pull a druid of the claw, which of course goes up in taunt mode (he has a azure drake, a 4/4 tinkertown, a mechwarper, and the annoy-o-tron on the board at this point). He plays a frostbolt and finishes killing it with a tinkertown, plays another tinkertown, and a piloted shredder, and hits me for 7 damage, getting me down to 15 health. I play an ironbark. He plays 2 mechanical yeti's and another annoy-o-tron, kills the ironbark with the tinkertown, and piloted shredder, and hits me for 7 more damage (he also almost empties his hand doing that). Now, I am sitting with Deathwing in my hand, but it is only turn 9, so it is useless, except for just 1 card in my deck (my second innervate since I already used one), and I PULL it! Out pops innervate and the board wipe with Deathwing!

I believe I have done 2 damage to him (both with hero power simply to get the 1 armor). He hovers over his 2 cards and then just uses hero power to hit me down to 7 health. I draw KT, play it, hero power (getting 1 armor so back to "8" health), and hit his face with Deathwing, bringing him down to 16. He draws another card, and then gives up.

Well, it was that time again (time to craft another legendary). I picked up Mylgos this time. It was a tough call. I don't really have any decks that can truly use it at the moment, but I can see myself using it with just a couple more cards (2 epics to be exact) in a shaman deck or two. It can also be useful in a mage deck as long as you have some low or no cost damage spells (from Emperor or similar mechanic).

My other thoughts were for King Mukla, Bloodmage Thalnos, The Beast, or Barron Geddon. Most all of these cards do not work very well in the current meta though. King Mukla is a maybe in a couple decks if you get him as an early draw or you can force an opponent to have card loss, mid/late game with it.

Well, I made a decent mill rogue deck. It is actually pretty viable now with the new expansion. The legendary from last week's edition causes friendly battlecrys to occur 2 times. Combine that with the minion that can add stealth to a minion, and you have something on the board that only a AoE or random can hit. Now add in the gang-up, shadowstep, and draw 2 card murlock (which now draws 4 cards), and you will very likely get at least 1 more murlock or a shadowstep the first time you play a murlock, which is the key to making that deck work.

Played against and lost to a few of the new rogue mill decks. Can kill you by turn 8 with preps and vanish if done right. Really annoying.

Not the greatest Tavern Brawl idea ever - I'm running into a lot of face decks and mages (who have crazy good synergy with the spells and Mana Wyrm / Flamewaker) which sucks.

But even so I'm probably having more fun with this brawl than any others simply from putting Summoning Stones into my deck. Which have also won me a lot of games lol. You can make all sorts of weird, unexpected plays with them

Haven't played at all this month except to try the adventure missions. Will be playing ladder in the next few days to qualify for cardback and a decent rank maybe for the monthly goldens.
I liked the pirate brawl, this one is kinda boring though.

Soon as I saw the rules for the last brawl I made a face hunter and just owned it. I ended up with 50 wins for the hell of it before getting tired.

The problem with the last brawl for me was the screwed up way that summoner stone worked with it.

That was cute, wasn't it? In the first game I ran into someone using Stones, I played Loatheb on my turn 5, they played a Stone and drew Assassinate, used it on my Loatheb, and summoned Deathwing. Needless to say, I banished Loatheb immediately after that game.

Played about 8 games over the weekend. First was brawl for the deck. Saw the rules and decided to go with hunter with 3 traps and the rest minions. Curve a bit tilted for the 2-4 mana range but still capable over entire range. Match was against another hunter that I think spaced a bit more for higher mana values. I would keep putting out several mobs, being able to take his down and have a couple of mine left. He'd then use all his spells to remove mine. Kept going like that for several turns till his hand was empty and I still had 3 and at about 9 mana. He played a heal minion that put him back to 30 (board empty otherwise), I dropped Alex on him along with a couple other 2 drops I had on board and he then quit.

Then went to do ladder for the card back, thought it was going to be a long night when first match was against a ramp druid that had perfect opening, and noticed almost every card was gold. After getting smashed there, I was pleasantly relieved when I pretty much mopped up after that getting back to 20 without another lost.

I almost forgot to climb this month, but thankfully, I logged on at 1 AM (resets at 2 AM for me), and I was 21 with full stars. Although, I felt kind of bad, because the guy I played against must have been pretty new. He wasn't exactly playing very good cards and ended up getting stomped. His biggest play was Consecrate, but he didn't last for much longer. I decided to play one more to finish my Mage quest, and this Warlock thought he had me. Pfft... it takes more than a bit of good card luck to beat me! I ended up beating the guy while having six health for about... 5+ turns?

I waited to play ranked till the last day as well. I think I started at around rank 15 and managed to hit rank 8 right when the season ended. Thankfully my last game counted for the rewards (5 extra dust ). It seems ladder hasn't changed at all since I played ranked in Oct, except aggro zoo seems to be more popular now. I ranked with midrange hunter and paladin decks with some tempo mage games in between because I was really close to golden mage portrait.

And is it just me or are the heroic bosses easier than in naxx and brm? I managed to beat all of them within 1-3 tries without resorting to Deathlord/Divine Spirit/Inner Fire priest shenanigans.

Well that was an interesting brawl last night. 1 game, about 70 minutes later and i've got my free pack. And that is with shaving 5 minutes or so off when he conceded at my two 8-8s on board and the three mobs he dropped combined might have eventually taken out one.

Dude, seriously? I don't think I had a brawl last more than 10 minutes, even with the opponent taking forever to select his cards. Then again, I usually had some really decent cards on the board (and in my deck) by turn 3, so much so that very rarely could the opponent overcome them. I found druid had some of the best due to class cards with high number of taunts available, forcing the opponent to simply beat their minions into them. Heck, 3 games I had a Senjin Shieldmaster out and on the board turn 1 (due to coin, plus 2 tarnished coins).

Got back into playing some HS since a friend has been playing lately. Have a current control priest which I had ranked into 5-7 back a year ago and I still like the playstyle. Aggro Shaman seems ridiculous. I made one and it's about a 50% win rate. If you can't lethal by turn 5-6, then you pretty much lose. I think I'll stick with the priest though.

Oh yeah. Didn't help that he was hitting rope on a good number of turns starting fairly early. And by the time we were done I had a deck of over 40 cards as last time I checked it was almost at 40.

He had a couple better cards he was hitting pretty regularly (like doc boom) while I changed my mage to heal and had the minion that has inspire heal.

I selected a lot of cards that would give extra cards or minions, so while he had a couple strong minions out normally, I had a lot of good medium ones along with spells (got the legendary that gives you a spell on inspire). So he'd attack me, i'd wipe his board, maybe have a minion or two left and heal myself.
