There was a big reddit thread on yogg. Statistically, each cast is much more likely to benefit you than the opponent. When 20+ casts occur, it's almost impossible for the final result to be beneficial to the opponent.
Why? While targeted spells will randomly target, a lot of spells in the game just don't have targets at all, and are simply cast and benefit the caster. For example Mind Blast, almost any AOE, draw spells, some healing spells will only benefit the caster. There are enough spells like this that statistically yogg is overall beneficial *most* of the time.
