Just wow, had to quite yet another game just after posting that. Can someone answer me why you'd play a restore health and give taunt to a minion at full health or only missing one? Are you afraid I was going to accidentally going face on my turn?

And when I've got a gargoyle at 7/16 needing just a couple more buffs to get him to survive nef stage 3 can you answer why suddenly a bran on the opposite side of the board is at 10/18. I mean other than because you're a complete dumbbleep and not understanding purpose of the game but it feels better to lose with stronger minions on your side?

Got past the Brawl in the first try. There were some misplays from my partner but not too bad. I know I had some plays that looked crappy since I was trying to get enough minions out to maximize bloodlust.

The Brawl is pretty easy as long as you have a half decent ally. My ally actually went afk and we still won thanks to me having a Stoneskin Gargoyle on the board.

You can win with Gargoyle, or the card that gets buffed everytime a card is played, or Fjola. There are also ways to keep yourself and ally at full health the whole game. The 0/7 card needs to kept alive on the board until the 30dmg AOE hits. Priest can cast the PW: Glory on the Gargoyle or another buffed minion which heals heroes and the hero power can then be used to keep minions alive. Nef actually takes forever to kill anything so there's no need to rush the board and much better to hold cards and wait for comboes.

That said, I played a couple more games where my allies truly showed how terrible people can be at this simple game.

Ex 1: I had an ally who actually milled me for 2 cards by using a draw 2 card, the Corrupted Pagle and the Murloc all in one turn. I actually milled away my inner fire and divine strength. I proceeded to play my own Coldlight, brew it back, play it again, and milled us both and quit.

Ex 2: I was Shaman and our hands had just gotten switched. Priest played my Sideshow Spelleater.... removed his upgraded healing and copied my near useless totems. WHY????

Ex 3: I'm Priest and holding a lot of buff cards in my hand waiting for the Shaman to play a buffable minion, preferably the Gargoyle. Our hands are switched, and the Shaman had the Gargoyle in his hand, I'm like WTF, why haven't you played it yet. He then proceeds to use up all "his" buffs on the stupid Cairne, losing us the after the 30aoe hits.

I'm 0 and 4. Last couple games started emotioned when they'd do stupid things and when it got to point i knew we'd lose (not preparing for transition to 3rd phase is almost a surefire defeat) I just concede.

Maybe I got lucky but the brawl seemed super easy to me (especially compared to the mechazod one that would randomly kill your minions and/or do massive damage to you). Just keep on buffing Gargoyle or Fjola.

It is easy if your partner has a brain. Just did 5th attempt and we crushed him. First gargoyle I dropped he didn't buff right away and it got swipped. 2nd went up and I have a couple buff cards from an earlier swap. Once he saw what I was doing it went pretty clear from there. it was my turn to attack at the health break points so managed that well and ended up killing him with a windfury gargoyle at 45/70 or so.

Anybody else finding this adventure to be a bit too easy? The standard mode is a joke (it always was) but I have been able to finish all the heroics so far with some decks I quickly threw together. I have struggled to get them all on all previous adventures, resorting to netdecking on a good 50%+.

It's really easy, esp. the Heroics. Wing 1 was pretty easy, Wing 2 heroics are a joke.

I accidentally used a ladder deck (Tempo Mage) against the Heroic Juliet and still won. I then used the same deck against The Crone and nearly beat her, had lethal set up, except she dropped a Twisting Nether turn 8 and killed me; only required a few subsitutions to the deck (I removed late game and put in 2x counterspell and an ice block, made the deck Wild and put in Mad Scientists and Loatheb). I beat it on my 2nd try.

Heroic Big Bad Wolf was beaten 1st try as well.

One thing to note though, I think these wings might be easier for the people like me who have a large collection of cards. There are plently of cards now in the game that there's always a few that can be used to cheese the boss.

I've also stopped running cards like Kel'Thuzad, Abomination, Death Lord since they just auto win against some bosses.

Wow did I ever just piss off a priest. I had a daily for paladin (which I don't play too much). I have a fairly heavy divine shield paladin deck (pretty much all the tricks). I had a crap draw, so pass on turn 1 (so did the priest). On turn 2 I play a 4/1 duskboar (pries passes again). On turn 3 I play a soldier and a pyromancer (and go face since there were no enemy minions). So the priest coins out the Auchenai Soulpriest on turn 3 to start dealing with all my small health minions. I respond with a argent protector (divine shield the duskboar), and use the boar and the pyro to kill the soulpriest. So of course it is a resurrect priest, who proceeds to resurrect the soulpriest and then hero power to kill my boar. At this point I am simply trying to get enough minions on the board that he can't just kill them with hero power for the next couple turns. During this time the priest puts down the minion that does 3 healing to his hero whenever he casts a spell (which was a mistake, as he didn't realize that when he cast a spell it would then do 3 damage because of the soulpriest, which I happily left alive at this point because I also knew he couldn't heal his hero which was down to about 18 health by this point). I play Justicar Trueheart and divine shield it on turn 7. The priest then plays one of the kill 5+ spells (taking 3 damage). I then take the gamble and play Tirion on turn 8 (hoping he didn't have either another kill 5+ or the entomb). Well the priest responds with the second kill 5+ minion and proceeded to beat the crap out of my hero (putting me down to 7 health, while he has a soulpriest, a 4/5 (the second part of Bloodhoof), and the 3/6 that "heals hero for +3 after casting a spell") while at the same time doing 3 more damage to himself getting him down to 12 health.

It is now turn 10, I have nothing on the board (just the weapon from Tirion), and I draw a 2/1+charge+divine shield, argent horserider. I also have a give a minion +4/4 spell and a rallying blade in my hand... Poor priest, I smack him with the 5/3 weapon from Tirion, play the argent horserider, play the blessing of kings (the +4/4 making the horserider 6/5), play rallying blade, giving the divine shielded argent horserider another +1/1, to make him 7/6 (with charge), and kill the priest.

Been a little more active and playing more this monthread using a shammy deck. One win from crossing into 15 and so afraid of losing stars!

Must say, starting to remember fondly the early years where leveling didn't really have a challenge till 12-10 levels.

Also opened my latest brawl deck, got pyroblast so I now have 2, and deathwing. Debating using him in my freeze yogg deck tLas something to drop on the numerous occasions yogg does win the game for me (unlike what I hear every else complaining about).

Woo hook, made it to 15!

Went against a warrior trying some of the new Kara cards but he used some of his hard removal earlier and was having difficulty clearing my side after mid game.

He played the mob the draws the 3 different types as well as weapon that allows unlimited swings in a turn. Thoughthe for a second I was going to lose when he dropped Harrison while I had a 2-6 in hand, but he must have not used brawl, so when I dropped wolves, another 7-7 and popped a taunt totem, he died turn after.

Uggh end of the month coming and I still need to rank up. Only three days left.

Also the heroic bosses seem to be getting easier every new wing. This one was a complete joke... even easier that wing 2. The heroic Curator was beaten with a simple ladder zoo deck. Why did we start at 10 mana too against the dragon?. It should have been a 10 mana vs 5 mana fight on heroic. The demon (Illhoof?) should have had more health, right now it's too easy to just burst him down in 1-2 turns.

I love it when aggro decks start BMing me when they think they've got the game in hand.

Was playing a Reno N'zoth C'thun Rogue deck against an Aggro hunter. I'm low on HP and he starts BMing me non-stop. I calculate the max damage he can do and I know he can bring me to down to 1 but can't possibly kill me. He again spends half his turn Bming me before bringing my HP down to 3. Next turn I drop Reno, and shawdowstep it back and it was amazing how fast he conceded.

A lot of them are just removing the really terrible cards that no one would choose; thus improving odds of a better draw.

Also remember that removing a less terrible card that is a common will improve a bad class more than removing a worse card of a higher rarity.

Read a reddit breakdown and he came to same conclusion I did, a couple bad cards are dirched, several of the others could be good or could be good in combo so removing them kinda meh unless it really boosts the chance of getting better card.

Draft system probably really needs an overhaul to give it a chance of being both competitive and not feeling like you're probably going to get screwed each time, or just remove draft all together and make it totally RNG ferris wheel and assigning random decks.
