Need a good recommendation for heatsink and fan for:

AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D​

Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU Cooler​

The Thermalright Phantom Spirit performs slightly better than the Peerless Assassin, and has several variants for less than $40. The more expensive Phantom Spirit 120 EVO is an exception here. It performs a bit worse then the PA in noise normalized testing (it's better in overall performance) because of the different fans it uses. I've tried multiple variants of both coolers. Either type will work great on a 5700X3D.

The PS evo is more expensive at $50-60. The PS se versions aren’t really. There’s a couple variants under $40. It can be a bit weird on Amazon. Thermalright has 2 different official stores and the prices aren’t always the same.

I'm aware. I've bought several. For $3 more the PS SE is a slightly better cooler.
