Heatware-like system

I'm planning on starting my own forum, using phpBB. Was wondering if anyone knows of a ready-made "Heatware-like" feedback system that can be tied into the DB of the forum?

Planning to be a forum of mainly trades/sales of 2nd hand items. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Heatware was written from scratch, IIRC... and I don't know of any other package out there that does anything like that it. :-

Unfortunately I do not have anywhere close to the coding skills required to pull off something like Heatware from scratch...

Are there other clever alternatives that can serve my purpose? I just need a simple system to rate users based on trades and transactions...

I was thinking about coding a site somewhat like Heatware a while back (because of a custom application I needed to use it for), but decided not to do so. You might try searching hotscripts or something like that for what you're looking for. I did a while back, and didn't find anything to my satisfaction, but that's been a while ago, and my qualifications might not be the same as yours. Good luck, and please let us know what you find.

Just an idea, maybe I could use some type of "review" script, but instead of reviewing products, users will be "reviewing" each other? Ideally, I'd want to tie it into the phpBB user database somehow. the rating system can be just three levels: positive, neutral, negative...
