The finale was so cheesy. And that song at the very end...cheesy.
Also, what the hell was Peter trying to accomplish when he threw that chick's head into the plane? Julie was handcuffed, there's no way you were going to distract the kid long enough to get her out.
Mrs. Ned & I recently watched season 1 on Netflix... I liked it at the time but now that a few weeks have passed I'm pretty meh about watching season 2.
watched it, was pretty good. I only wonder how they plan to do the two episodes in one going forward. worked for the first episode, but can see it getting harder as things go on.
Does have me thinking though that the chick in charge of the immortals won't be around for much else otherwise.
Frankly, it is all over the map.
Good parts, sprinkled with insane parts, then some odd parts, and it keeps going round and round with different perspectives based on lunatics.
This is very different from season 1.
Like tonight's episode, they played the theme of the Andy Griffith Show while playing out the opening to that show.
What the heck is going on with this show, is it supposed to be a (crappy) comedy now or what?
The "chase" scene was ... ugh, along with the music they were playing.

I don't really like this show anymore. I keep watching, hoping that it will redeem itself, but if something amazing doesn't happen soon I'm going to quit.
So they managed to include just about everyone from the first season except the one doctor killed early once the army guy shows up to answer the phone.
Still not sure how the future timeline going to intersect with the main story.
Even more so, given how distant it has shown the them to have become, how would they include them in the next season?

Yeah. Just finished the third episode of season two and this show is continuing to spiral down out of control.
No real connection to the first show, so many loose ends it isn't funny, and the we're to the point where the writers are intentionally jacking us around just to keep us watching. Game of thrones, with MORE characters is far less confusing. I'm not going to take notes to keep track of what year, day, or who did what.
the bones aren't his (and in fact a clue leading to a map of Hatake's location)
, so with his 'current condition' being revealed at the end,
clearly we're supposed to think that he's still alive.
Anyway, just finally finished watching my DVR backlog for this (I was behind maybe about 8 episodes just last week). Clearly the two seasons are meant to be somewhat separate story lines with Ilaria being sort of the line connecting the dots in the background. The story does seem all over the place, and plot holes galore (e.g. this is apparently such a huge abbey that sometimes it's so hard to find people, although sometimes you find them right away, whichever is convenient to the story).
Having said that, I'm not going to complain much. It's still fun to watch, and you have to admit it's somewhat creative with the story telling, leveraging the immortals with time jumps, etc. This second season feels too much like Lost at times (we have to leave the island! don't let them leave the island! etc.), but I'll still watch if they continue making it. I won't miss it too much if it's gone either. Any news about it being renewed or canceled at all?
I just started with this series since i have finished House. I do wish that the main character Alan Farragut was a little smarter and not so whiny emotional. Seems promising. Although it is all easy to guess :
Doctor Hatake experimented on himself.
The virus was found in some corpse in the ice.
The genetic strain that will be used to mutate people is perhaps from extra terestial origin.
Now i have to look and see if that is true...
At least it looks better than doctor Who. I got bored with him. And with his LED screw driver.
And in the 7th century in the middle east, they figured out quarantine by keeping all patients separate. But in this series, the cdc doctors forgot all about it ?
Or the RFID chip implanted in the hand and then doctor Alan is asking why the infected one would cut off the hand of a "high clearance" death guard ?
