Funnily enough, I had a load of crashes online then one day I decided to update the SP part of it.
I have had two crashes in the past week during gameplay. This does not count in crashes caused by me switching graphics modes which it doesnt always like.

are you talking about 2 crashes a week in SP?
-i get 2 random crashes every 5 hours
*ambiguous SPOILER ALERT*
... sort of"
- the first big crash was in Necropolis Deep Level 5 in sight of the goal [after clearing 7 maps]; the 2nd time was in Level 4 [after clearing 6 maps] of the Necropolis. :|
--the third time i got thru i ran and used invisibility - i have <<<all 7 areas drawn out on paper and completely mapped from start right to the goal just because of the stupid disconnects and the fact that your portal doesn't get saved
.. anyway ... it's starting to get kinda exciting ... something new ... a game of 'bacon' ...
. . . with demons
Seriously ... one thing that really spoils it - considering i am playing without cutscenes anyway - is the lack of voice acting where you have to read the dialogue - one tends to skip it ... they spend $20 million on a game and can't spend another 50K$ to make it flow better?
i think i might finish it today ... maybe
-i am NOT impressed with MP ... can 'chat' be more clunky?
--IF i don't get Assassins' Creed this week, i will play a Summoner off the DVD.

So now that the full version is out and I've been playing a bit. This is how you're supposed to play:
1. Enter town.
2. Use minimap and find any NPCs with yellow/purple exclamations.
3. Ignore text they say, just hit the accept button.
4. Repeat 2 & 3 until no more exclamations.
5. Run around to every Gold gateway and clear the place. Don't be shy...go tear it up!
6. Repeat 5 until no more gold gateways.
7. Use minimap and find any NPCs with yellow/purple question marks.
8. Ignore anything they say. Just hit the "choose for me" button.
9. Repeat 2-8 until only blue gateways remain.
10. Go to next town.
Playing it in a "oooh follow the quest" manner is just a bit dry and boring. Based on some of the quests and the story line I just don't think the game was intended to be immersive in a quest sort of way.
It's an action game. Go kill sh1t and it's fun.
The patches are starting to make a pretty big difference as far as bugs go.

Hmm well just a few hours into Act 5 met the Broker who is in the middle of one of the instances. He's given me a bunch of crap quests to go into areas and fight lvl 15 mobs again, plus I have to fight through two areas just to get to him to turn them in.
Does anyone know if this is a bug? I wanted to start on the Necropolis quests but now I'm saddled with all of these "old" quests that didn't spawn for me before in areas like Charing Cross Station. Stupid design IMHO.
