What Dan isn't saying here is that he has had to relocate to an enormous holding capable of supporting 233,253,255 of the cutest bunny wabbits on the planet. Well he doesn't have THAT many yet, but they do breed............

Dan, sorry to hear about your departure with Compaq but I'm sure everyone here who knows you would admit you'd be the last person to sit on your arse and bxtch about it. I'm glad to see you've found another path and have persued it with your signature headstrong style. It's nice to see someone discovering a niche and running with it...good luck on the patent and take care.

Good to see ya man! Yes, I do suppose we butted heads now and then... didn't we.
Trust me though... what Bob and I slung back and forth via PM made our little tussles look mild. :Q

I really appreciate all the kind words of support from everyone. Having been an "employee" all my adult life - it's unnerving and scary to step out on my own. I suppose that even if it's a flop - at least I'll have tried... and I sure learned some things along the way.

I'll say this - A patent application is an 'icky' little bit of work to be sure. Mine ended up at just about 35 pages. (double-spaced) I recall (vaguely) having worked 20 hour days for about 3 weeks. It's all kind-of a blur.
