Help 9800 pro Saphire gives me errors when i try to do any video type of function.

I recently bought this card from another trader on the board.
When I try to play anytype of 3d game or run sysmark this is the error I get:

VPU recover was unable to fully recover from a hardware deadlock, and has switched to software rendering. To restore hardware rendering, you must restart your computer. Do you want to restart your computer now?

I search google and did not find any info on this. Is the card bad or does it have to do with something else on my computer.

Current Setup
9800 pro Saphire 128 meg card
AMD 3200+ 64 new castle
Biostar Nforce 3 mobo
2 x 512 DDR 3200 ram
350 Antec Powersupply

I'd suggest confirming you're using the latest non-beta drivers, then try the beta drivers, and if nothing gets better, RMA'ing the card.

You may want to try switching the card to AGP 4x rather than 8x.
You can also try disabling FAST WRITES in the Bios.

Also, you are running a little close with the power rating on your PSU (Antec or not).

Could also simply be that the card is overheating. Make sure you have adequate airflow in your case.

If you get the errors right away when doing 3D benchmarks, could be that it went bad during shipping. If it's a recent deal, contact the seller and explain teh situation. Otherwise you may need to contact Sapphire for a RMA.
