Help a noob who spilt AS5 on Cpu Pins!

"I BEG" "i hate myself" Hahaha, that was funny. All over a CPU too...

Anyways just to give you piece of mind, cpu's today are tough stuff, you can throw them around and drop them in water etc and theres a good chance they will still work afterwards, providing you let it dry first and it isnt an athlon xp, theyre weak as hell.

As long as you clean up the AS itll be fine, also the drop probably didnt damage it, in fact i am 99% certain its fine since its pinless. I dropped my A64 3200+ and it was fine except for the bent pins which i had to bent back.

All unlidded processors are quite easy to break, not just the Athlon XP's.

Hmm... This is a real head scratcher... I am trying to decide who I would rather touch my PC, a n00b, or a guy that routinely drops CPUs on the ground...?

I have been building PCs since the 90's and I have never dropped one. What is it with you people? Do you have lots of problems bumping into cars while parking as well?

incandesecnt lightbubls were invented by edison... old ****** that doesnt glow as birght as modern ones... plus majority of lightbubls these days are flourescent or halogen based...
