An Anand review of the previous version garnered much praise. I would rather get a 64 board but the chip is kind of steep.

So you already have a P4 or you are just going to buy a mobo and let it collect dust for 2+ months until Prescott(P5) is released?

It's for gaming? First off, bag the Pentium 4 idea - AMD has a much better price/performance ratio. I'm a hard core gamer, and my AMD system kicks some serious a$$!

That said, while DFI makes nice boards, the FIC AU13 is the finest nForce2 board on the market, officially supporting the 400Mhz FSB of the fastest Athlon XP chips! I've installed dozens of them, and never had a single problem - indeed, I was so impressed, I replaced my prior very nice Epox 8RDA+ with one. And you can get it from newegg for ~$80!

dude, get the fry's CPU/mobo combo. that is the best bang-for-the-buck out there. if you are planning to upgrade to a pentium 5 (or is that V) when that comes out, i wouldn't spend much money at all.
