HELP !!!! BX6 rev2 mobo...

I just noticed this a few moments ago after installing a new 300W powersupply.
And that is my CPU(Celeron 533mhz at 66mhz) being terribly hot, around 60 degrees celcius. I also noticed that the VCORE in my bios(dated 2-6-1999) is at 3.42V. I have set it to default 2.00V, but it keeps giving 3.40-3.42V !!!!

Can this be why its that hot ?? I really think so, right ?!?!?!
And do you guys have any ideas how I can make the bios set the VCORE to 2.00V and really work at 2.00V, cause thats what it says on the box of the CPU.

Get the latest BIOS Update....
They added the Celeron 533 support prior to the latest one, you could be fryin your chip. I'd do that ASAP and hopefully that'll solve your problem.

I updated to the QR bios before installing Cel2 566 and later PIII650 and PIII750. Also have 300W PS - it's not the problem. The QR bios had no problem recognizing and setting appropriate voltages (1.5 and 1.65) for these FC-PGA CPUs. Lark

Well, I have updated to the latest bios for my mobo. And it works now. Why it stopped working all of a sudden is still a mystery to me.
