OK, I dunno what happened but suddenly I can't play 3d games!!
My specs:
P4 1,3 ghz
Inno3d Tornado Geforce2 GTS 32MB
128 MB RAM
Asus P4T Mobo
It started when I tried to play F1RC, it shows black screen with vertical color lines and the system hangs, so I reboot. I tried to play it again, and I can play it with no problem for half an hour. I decided to try Giants, and the black screen is there again! So I thought maybe its time to quit and shutdown the computer.
An hour later, I try to start my computer, but the monitor won't start! It looks as if its in suspend (blinking lights). I try and I try for about 4 times with different ways and suddenly the monitor is on again. So I thought I probably should reinstall the vid card drivers, so I did (clean install). Then I tried to test it with 3dmark2001, but it wont run! It got to the splash screen (the one saying 'car chase-low detail, 1 of 20 test, bla bla) but then the display just go blank. I tried other games, both d3d and openGL ,and I can only get to the menu on all games.On F1RC I can't get to the menu since the menu has 3d rendered car in it. The monitor give clicking noise like it always does when changing resolution and then goes blank on all games. ARGGHHH!! HELP!!!
I tried to reinstall directx but no avail. I just hope it isn't hardware!
The only 3d game I can play is using ePSXe (PSX emulator).
HELP!! Anybody?
