I have Outlook 2013 and for some reason I'm having issues sending outgoing emails. I've configured Outlook per the standard GMail SMTP settings and am able to successful send that "test message" using either port 587 with TLS or 465 with SSL.
However, when I create and "send" a regular email, Outlook sits at "sending" for about a minute and then comes back with the following error:
Task 'xxxxxx@gmail.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC13): 'Cannot connect to the network. Verify your network connection or modem.'
I checked my firewall (BitDefender) and the "rule" for outlook.exe is to allow on all ports/directions/etc. And, as I said, when I set the SMTP server details and Outlook sends that test message, it goes through just fine.
The emails I'm trying to send are small with no attachments, so I don;t think that's the issue.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
