HELP! :( Gainward GF3 128 meg is now 64!

Someone please help!

I have a Gainward GF3 Ti200 GS 128meg card and I flashed it with the wrong bios. Now the card works but its a 64meg.

Can someone please tell me where to find the original bios for this card? Or if possible e-mail me it To: Junkmail77@comcast.net

Since the card is so new, there is most likely no BIOS out right now.

Check with gainward, they are your best bet.

Having it at 64 won't really hurt you. It only brings minscule improvements.

well... that was pretty dumb... Sorry.. but I just had to be blunt..

prior to any video card bios updating, you should use the DUMPBIOS utility
It basically, dumps your current bios loaded in, and you save it to whatever filename you prefer, with the *.bin or *.rom extension..
Now you'll have your old backup.. which in case, you dont have

Does anyone know where to set the core / memory setting in a dumped BIOS (of course after verifying first that it runs at that setting with coolbits..)?

RSMemphis right here.. I use Ray Adams Nvidia Bios Editor..

I currently have my "plain Jane" Elsa Gladiac 920 (Geforce 3) running at a Core Clock: 225 Mhz, Memory Clock: 510 Mhz... and also Sideband Addressing & Fast Writes are enabled as well... modded in the Nvidia Reference Bios Version 3.20.00.12

This program will read your current BIOS, thus, you can save it, before making modifications

If you manage to get your 128mb back from 64mb then im glad for you, but if you dont then you shouldnt be too concerned about it. Since i.e. games today dont use more then 64mb you wont notice any difference and by the time you would actually be able to use the "extra" 64mb, the card itself would be outdated and you wouldnt get much out of it anyway.
128mb cards are mostly eyecandy for when you look at the box in the store and doesnt really have any use. You could see it as a sales trick. You dont need more then 64mb today and by the time youll actually need it youll want to have a newer card anyway.

It looks like you need to find someone else that has the 128MB version to do the dumpbios thing and give you a copy of their bios.

I have an Abit Geforce3 Ti 200 128mb card. I could dump the bios from that if you want....

That Abit card overclocks nice.... Got it running stable at Ti 500+ speeds.
